Conservation Districts are political subdivisions of Colorado state government organized under the Colorado Soil Conservation Act. Supervisors are unpaid ELECTED officials. The South Pueblo County Conservation District is governed by a board of five elected Supervisors. There are 75 conservation districts in Colorado.
